I thought I'd start an uplifting thread that can be fuel to our fires. Bring your positive affirmations here. And when you're having a bad day, you can come back and read them for inspiration, uplifting, and encouragement.

Post quotes, prayers, personal affirmations, poems whatever you feel will uplift and charge you up!

I'll start out by posting this blog post that I love:

This is a paragraph from the Our Bodies Our Selves: Pregnancy and Birth book:

"The conflicting and often rigid advice we hear can make us feel anxious, undermine our confidence in our bodies and ourselves, and contribute to the 'climate of doubt' about birth so prevalent in today's culture. While making healthy individual choices and working together toward a safe environment are worthy goals, it's important to remember that women have an inherent capacity to grow and nurture our babies and that women in all sorts of circumstances around the world give birth to healthy babies. Remembering this can help us keep our perspective, celebrate our pregnancies, and reclaim the climate of confidence that we deserve during our pregnancy."
