Hello, my name is April. I am due on Jan 29th with my 2nd baby. With the first, I had every intention of going natural, but at the last minute I chickened out! I had the epi and delivered about 45min later. She was almost 9 pounds. This time I plan to educate myself a little better so I can go through with it. I enrolled in a Bradley Method class today, but it doesnt start for a while still. I am so excited about it!

Welcome April! I am excited to hear that you are planning a natural birth after getting so far with your little Isabelle.

My name is Nicole and I have 4 children - all born with the Bradley method. I am expecting my 5th and now teach the method. Glad to see you here and I look forward to getting to know you.

Hi!! You must have asked for the epidural during the emotional signpost where you doubt and question your ability which is right before the end, I read about that in the Bradley book "Natural Childbirth The Bradley Way". That makes sense!! You should check it out! This is my first natural birth too, my last one I had an epidural and I didn't really enjoy all of that, and I want to make the right choice for baby. I would like to see a drug free baby meet drug free mommy at the birth.

"In the first place, whether you choose or no to take any trouble about the formation of his habits, it is habit, all the same, which will govern ninety-nine one-hundredths of the child's life. We are all mere creatures of habit. We think our accustomed thoughts, make our usual small talk, go through the trivial round, the common task, without any self-determining effort of will at all." -Charlotte Mason
