Well, since you ladies know how it feels it to be on this roller coaster ride of trying to conceive, I thought I'd share what happened to me yesterday. I still have not had AF and I thought there is a CHANCE that I ovulated on day 17 since my OPK turned positive on that day (remember it was also positive on day 12 and 13 so I don't know how reliable this is) BUT.....I decided to take a hpt yesterday just in case ( I would be 10 dpo). Well, I thought I saw a faaaaint line at 5 minutes, wasn't sure. It was a blue dye test. I looked back 15 minutes later and this is what I saw!!!!

So I got all excited an thought it was positive. (I know the pic is fuzzy but in real life it was VERY OBVIOUS that second blue line was there!) I mean, how often does a negative test (if it was neg) turn positive in 20 minutes or less?

So I pick up a digital hpt, took it this morning and it was a

Why do I do this to myself????? I am wasting money on hpts and driving myself insane!!!!

Teri's right....it is still early and there is still hope. I've read that blue dye tests are not that reliable and that you shouldn't read any test after 10 minutes. But, like we've said......it is still early. So, hang in there!! We're right here to share your good news with!!

I do see a faint line on the test above, but if the digital came back negative . . . it's still early. I'd test again in a few days. 10DPO is still very early, so I know it's hard to wait, but wait a few more days & test again. Keep us updated, and we're all here for you!!!!!

Thanks Jaidynsmum for another perfect siggy!!

I believe that digital tests are less sensitive than regular ones, so it might that you're still too early and your HCG is too low. Wait a couple of days and retest. (I would have tested everyday...like 5 times...but it's still better to wait, LOL)

KUP and good luck !!!
