Hi everyone!! I am a long time memeber of another message board. I feel like I don't fit in anymore since there is no specific board for RPL. So I was talking to one of my friends how I felt that I didn't fit in and was asking about her website she goes to. My friend (who is pg with twins after 4 early miscarriages) suggested I come to JM. Just thought I would introduce myself.

I'm Lisa (31) and I have been married to Jamie (37) for 6 years. We have been TTC our first for 4 years. We have had 4 early miscarriages and one ectopic. It has taken me a long time to get over this last pregnancy (the ectopic one from this past May). I'm finally getting back to "normal" this week. I "think" (with my fingers crossed really tight) that the spotting has finally stopped. We aren't allowed to TTC again until September (because I had to have a MTX shot).

With the first 3 pregnancies I wasn't being tested or treated for anything. With the last two I am on a baby aspirin (cardiolipin antibodies came back slightly abnormal but not bad enough to have heparin or lovenox), I'm also hypothyroid and on 50mcg of synthroid. With the 5th pregnancy I was also on progesterone suppositories. I believe that if this last one wasn't ectopic, the progesterone would have kept me going because my HCG levels reached 2600 and they had never been over 300 with any of my other pregnancies.

We are also adopting!! We completed the process to adopt a baby from Taiwan this summer. We are "in line" and expect a referral around the end of 2013. We can't wait!!

Anyway, I just thought I would introduce myself. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Welcome to the board! I'm Augie, wife to Chris, and mommy to four angels. It sounds as though your doctor is being proactive and that is good. Please take a moment to check out our stickies and add your family to our dates thread. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I hope you find that you fit right in and are able to get the support you need during this difficult time.

Thanks to Jaidynsmum for my siggy!

Hi! I'm so glad you found us, though it's always sad to have to welcome people to the board. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us, and a super duper huge congrats on adopting! That is so special.

I'm Amber (26) married to Jonathan (27). We tried for 4 years for our first. We had 2 early miscarriages and lost a daughter, Sophie, at 16 weeks. I was also on baby asprin and progesterone with my 4th pregnancy. I had a few abnormal blood clotting tests, but nothing that definitely pointed to why we'd had the losses. As a last ditch effort my docs put me on the baby asprin and progesterone, and in Jan 09 we welcomed our rainbow baby, Grace.

I hope you can find plenty of support and understanding through our board. This is a very welcoming group of women. Please feel free to jump in and post anytime!

*Thank you so much to Jaidynsmum for my beautiful siggy!*
