Ok so I spent all night in the er bc my side was hurten rel bad and I was scared I had a tubal. Well they did blood draws and said my hcg was lil over 2000. And they did a vaginal ultrsound they did see the sac but no fetal pole or yolk sac yet the ultrasound tech said I wasn't quite 5 weeks yet and that it was just to early to see it but I know for a fact that I am 5 weeks today so does that mean that there isn't going to be a baby or is really just to early to see it?

I would say you are still a bit early to be too concerned about what you can't see. Your numbers sound great - and at thsi point it can be normal not to see much of anything. Besides that - you can't know for sure you that you are exactly 5 weeks...not really...because implantation is not an exact science on an exact time table, it can vary by several days - so you could be more like (developmentally) 4 weeks 3 days - even if by calendar & ovulation you should be 5 weeks....if that makes sense. This early on a few days can make a HUGE difference. Try not to worry & you will certainly knwo more with your f/up u/s.

I just saw this too and I am glad Beckie was able to help you out. And I agree you are probably just too early to see much. Implantation can take a while.

I have had an ectopic pg and got pg with DS right after. So I had a very early u/s with him at 4-5w and all we saw was a nice healthy little sac in my uterus. It was not until 6w or so that we saw the fetal poles and a little flickering...his heart beat. He is perfectly fine and was born at 38w.

BTW when are you due? I think we are in the same DDC
