I'm getting married in a few weeks and am looking for some good song ideas. I need a "us" song and also a bridal party song.

Any ideas?

What did you use are your dance song?

Well I haven't gotten married yet -- but I have got a few songs picked out already; just can't pick "the one " yet

Here's a list;

One love - Hootie & The Blowfish
Don't Wanna Miss a Thing - Aerosmith
Sweet Child 'Of' Mine - Guns 'n' Roses
Amazed - Lonestar
Best Friend - Queen
I got you babe- Sonny & Cher

Love me Tender by Elvis was our song. Well not the first choice. But naturally we had a band for the music at our wedding. They didn't know Always and Forever by Heat Wave. So they did Love Me Tender. Always and Forever is our song.

The first song we danced to at our reception...and the song that is now "our" song is "I've finally found someone" by Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand. It is was also the theme song for the movie "The Mirror has Two faces".

Our wedding song was "True Companion" by Mark Cohn.

The song I dedicated to our bridal party was "I Hope You Dance..." Forget who sang it...

I Will Be Here by Stevin Curtis Chapman
I Will Be Here(Steven Curtis Chapman)

Tomorrow morning if you wake up

and the sun does not appear

I will be here

If in the dark, we lose sight of love

Hold my hand, and have no fear

'Cause I will be here

I will be here

When you feel like being quiet

When you need to speak your mind

I will listen

And I will be here

When the laughter turns to cryin'

Through the winning, losing and trying

We'll be together

I will be here

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up

And the future is unclear

I will be here

Just as sure as seasons were made for change

Our lifetimes were made for these years

So I will be here

I will be here

And you can cry on my shoulder

When the mirror tells us we're older

I will hold you

And I will be here

To watch you grow in beauty

And tell you all the things you are to me

I will be here

I will be true to the promise I have made

To you and to the One who gave you to me

Tomorrow morning, if you wake up

And the sun does not appear

I will be here

Oh, I will be here.

True Companion by Marc Cohen is a great one too!
