Have you based the number of children you want or have by the number of siblings you or your SO/DH grew up with?

My DH and I are both the oldest of 3 (I have 2 younger sisters and he has 2 younger brothers) so we know that we'd need to have an even number of kids. To this day, one sibling is left out and we don't want that for our kids. So....if we had an oops! and had a third baby...we'd most likely be trying for a fourth! But...we are content with our 2 drama queens!

Samuel and I both grew up in families with three kids. I originally wanted three kids when I was younger. But I ended up getting a late start on having a family. So I ended up with just two.
