Good morning ladies The last weeks events have got me to thinking.

Do you give to charities?

Yesterday there was a radiothon at our children's hospital. This is the same hospital that is caring for our baby Jenna. I dared everyone in the department to donate $3 to $5 and we would take then entire collection to the radiothon and donate it in Honor of Jenna and Memory of Jada. We raised a total of 1500.00 for them. It was awesome. I think every year from this point on when the radiothon is going on I will ago to do a $12 a month for 12 months. It's called a 12 by 12. I have a lot to be grateful for and if anything was (God forbid) to happen to Annika I want to know she will get the best of care at the hospital. No children are ever turned away.

Good for you guys!
I tithe to my church and we both do a lot of voulenter work, DH more than me. We donate and voluenter at the paddle against cancer, a dragon boat event here evry summer and we did a donation in Benjamin's name when he was born to SCAW-sleeping children around the world and we plan on doing that every year on his birthday.

No, but I know that I should.

We do all the school fundraisers and give to the church each week.

We usually play in a yearly Lotto here where the proceeds go to the Vancouver Childrens Hospital. And we donate to the Canadian Cancer Society and the SPCA, and walk for a cure for MS and the CNIB.
Proud mom to Branden (13.5) and Cam (8.5) and River, our 8 month old bouncing baby boy!

I've only given one time and that was during the Tsunami. I need to do it more.
