What do you see as pros and cons for having Widely Spaced Siblings?

Annika has a great big brother that she can take to show and tell when so goes to school. He's in the Army and something she can be proud of. I think, if he stays on the right track, he can be a positive role model in her life aside from mommy and daddy.

I think Annika and Brandon are going to miss out of the fun and playing together as siblings who are closer in age. I also feel that Brandon will feel more like an Uncle to her then a big brother in some sense of the being.

Justin really appriciates having a little brother and all that we did to have him. He is a great help and loves to make his brother laugh.

I think that the newness is going to wear off. When Justin is a teenager he is going to have his pesky little brother wanting to be with him and annoying him.

Branden enjoys having a little brother to show the hoops too, and in turn Cam adores his big brother and loves to hang out with him. They are very close and have a special bond.

Branden is about to enter the teenage years and is beginning to want more space, sometimes finding a little brother a royal pain.
Proud mom to Branden (13.5) and Cam (8.5) and River, our 8 month old bouncing baby boy!
