I have No theme to my nursery, it was going to be pooh but honestly.... it is anything but. We have a pooh floor mat, a bed sheet and some figurines. Nothing else, I really really want to do a theme but I don't want to shell out that much money making it look like the magazines

I still want to keep the pooh theme but I have no idea what to do next! Any suggestions?

A special thank you to Sawyer's Mommy for the sig

I'd check Craigslist in your area (san antonio baby & kid stuff classifieds - craigslist). I've seen a lot of cute nursery decor go up for sale rather cheap. Ebay is another good option if you're comfortable buying things based on picture/description.

Remember that not everything has to have characters on it. One way to tie together a few character pieces is to find appropriately colored solid items (which will be a lot cheaper).

I find that artwork on the walls goes a long way to "announcing" the theme of a room so that might be one of the first things for which you want to look.

Check out the BEHR website. They have disney inspired rooms including pooh that don't cost a fortune
