I put more than $1000...which is sad, because I have only purchased 3 things for it!

The crib was $400, the dresser was $618 and the bedding/accessories were $350. On the bright side, we bought a solid wood, 8 drawer dresser that we plan for the baby to use well into his older childhood years. The company that makes the crib and dresser we bought (Caramia) also makes bed frames for double beds, so we will order a matching double bed frame when the baby is out of the crib.

With EVERYTHING included, more that $1000, definitely... no questions about that.

we got a fantastic deal on our furniture. A friend of my mom's little boy just turned 2 and they were buying him a big boy bed and selling all the matching baby furniture.

We got the rocker/glider, ottoman, dresser & hutch, changing table, night stand, crib & mattress as well as some mattress sheets all for $150 and they are in great shape, my grandfather bought them for me.

my mom bought the brib bumper & comforter on clearance at target

so WE as in me and my bf probably spent less than $100 for the rest of the decorations
this is the crib and the night stand:

and here is the hutch with a little bit of the crib:

Well over a thousand...it was actually a good deal though 600 for the crib side table and accesories and the remainder of the mony we spent was for things like diaper genie, window treatments, etc.

My second we only spent maybe 150.00 on bedding b/c we had everything...the only thing diff is our friends had a white crib so we used that instead of our original crib.

My mother in-law bought the crib and changing table/dresser, and stroller/carseat. Father in-law gave us the rocker and extra dresser. My parents bought the bedding, highchair, bouncy seat and swing. I think all dh and i bought was the playard, diaper genie and bathtub.

the decor was made by my mom and myself. sao we did pretty good. maybe $300

Thank you *Kiliki* for my gorgeous siggie!
