We recetly moved to a new town and had to buy a house fast.. well we had been trying for a while and no luck so we only bought a 2BR.. BIG mistake cuz guess what less than a year later we are expecting.. We are planning on finding a bigger place but until we can my question is what do we do about the nursery items.. crib, changing table, dresser, rocker, etc? I guess i should say that our sons room has NO room to spare. its a small house..any suggestions are appreciated..thank you!

I guess you'll have to make due with what you have. We are having to do that too, but I'm not all that glad about it. We plan on moving by the spring or summer, but until then, we are just going to set up the baby's bassinet in our room. We hung double racks in my daughter's closet. We crammed all her clothes in the top rack and put the baby's clothes on the bottom rack--that way we still have room in the bottom of her closet for the baby's diapers, wipes, diaper bag, etc. We put all the blankets up on the shelf we built in the top of the closet. Our baby doesn't have a dresser yet because, like you said, there just isn't room for one in my older daughter's room. We plan on using totes that fit under our daughter's bed for any clothes that need folded, socks, and jammies. I hope this helps a little bit---I know it's not ideal, but you can make it work. It just takes a little creativity. Oh, the baby's swing and bouncer will be right in our living room like they were for our older daughter--that's where we are most of the time anyways. The day our tree goes down, we will be putting those things out and getting our bassinet ready for Baby Bella.

hi my name is teresa
we live in a home that is really small. built in the 60's..used to be DH's grandparents home. it is 3BR and 1bath and no room at all. there is NO master bedroom and son's nursery/room is only 10x10 sq ft. that is small. AND it has 2 windows so it was hard to place the crib anywhere. we put his crib on one wall between the windows, we bought a changing table/dresser combo and put that on the opposit wall, then we bought a rocking chair/ottoman and put that in the other corner. we had a closet in that room but it was already filled up from previous years of collecting crap that was his grandparents.
here are photos to give you an idea.

you can see the crib and bassinet

another view of it

that is the door right next to the table

me leaning up against the changing table/dresser combo...an arms length away from the crib
