Last weekend my husband and I were the subject of talk amongst some of our other family members. How they could help bring us to salvation, make sure my daughter is "raised in the right environment", how to get us to go to church more and be respectful of "the family faith".

My parents flipped out on them and came out as agnostics! They had never discussed their lack of or questioning of faith to us (my sister and I). It was a HUGE event for my immediate family!

They went off on my aunt (I love her dearly), about how she only goes to church one day a year, at easter, and that is only so she can justify a new outfit!

The chat I had with my parents yesterday was just amazing. I am so proud of them!

That's wonderful! How nice to have them not only have your back, but to also share your lack of beliefs!
