Did they teach logic at your school/college? I had to do logic in math and as a separate subject (explored more beyond just 'proofs').

In society, we seem to accept logic everywhere except in the case of religion. For example, burden of proof. As a society, we place the burden of proof on the person making the claim. Prosecution lawyers have the burden of proof; they are accusing the defendant of a crime and prove his guilt. When it comes to religion, however, people like to say "you can't prove God doesn't exist"

At the 2 colleges I've attended, there have been logic courses, in the philosophy departments. I've enjoyed them immensely.

Julian Marcus. Andrew Thomas. Michael anything.

Isabella Simone. Genevieve Amalia. Alexandra Katharine. Lucia Elizabeth.

Nope, I went to a Catholic school. Just because it was the best school. My Gran lied and said we were from a parish back where my Dad lived, and that I was baptized and confirmed - yep I guess if I was a believer I'd be going to hell for that, lying to nuns and such.
They did have a mandatory Religion class but I got out of it by threatening to make a stink in the papers about how they were holding me back from taking an academic class by forcing me to take a class that had no place in my plans for my future. It was a bit of a battle but in the end I got to take a sociology class instead. Victory!
