It's been quiet around here lately so I thought I'd start up a random ramblings thread. feel free to randomly ramble about whatever.

I find myself really busy since I started homeschooling my oldest DS. Between that and having a 5 month old that pretty much dictates our schedule during the 'school day' it's been rather exhausting. I knew it would be hard work, but man, I really have no time at all to myself anymore. I still work in the evenings after DH gets home, so I have been spreading myself thin lately.

Fortunately my 7 year old DD is doing well at her public school. We just got her Terra Nova scores back from last spring and her overall score has her in the 93rd percentile. 97th for reading and language and 85th for math. I just hope she doesn't start getting bored at school due to lack of challenging material and get herself into trouble. I think her social-little-self won't let that happen.

Well, I'm hoping that we'll fall into a groove here. I'm going to attempt a plan of setting aside 1 hour a day to get on my computer and post here and catch up on the blog. I see a few new posters here that I'd like to welcome as well. The more the merrier!

This is a great idea!

I have been away from JM because of a wedding and my own holidays...

I hope everyone else has been doing well.

BTW Kelly, I really admire homeschooling.. It's been something I've been afraid of doing.

Thanks! It's harder than I thought timewise, but has been worth it so far. (homeschooling)
