I thought I would pass this information along. I took three up and up target brand pregnancy tests last month (1st month sorta trying) and I got two faint faint lines and one negative. I thought it was weird and never thought it was positive. With DD my faint was really faint and I started to get darker ones. I thought I would research the up and up because you rarely get a faint positive and it is negative. Well there are TONS of women who have wrote reviews about how awful these pregnancy tests are and how they 9 times out of 10 give false positives. I did not think I was pregnant to begin with but it could really crush someone to think their faint line was positive and then find out it was the stupid unreliable test!

Anyone else try these?!?!

i have used them in the past (always negative and correct) but now that I know this, I won't use them anymore, which sucks because I always buy Target brand things!

Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.

I thought the 1st one was old, so I got a new pack and had the same problem. I love Target too!

I used them when TTC Matthew one cycle and I got a line that looked so positive, but every other test was negative and I wasn't pregnant- I will never use them again! And yes, I adore Target as well so it's a total bummer but I don't want to get any evaps- too emotional!

Annalise is hoping to be a big sister on June 28, 2014. Forever missing her big brother, Matthew, stillborn on July 1, 2010.

I just used one - it was positive. I wanted to double check and went to walgreens and bought a clearblue digital. It was also positive.

I just took three of the up & up early detection pregnancy tests and got a positive on all 3. The problem was they were false positives. I confirmed this by taking a First Response and it was negative two days in a row. I will NEVER use another up & up pregnancy test.

I've always used them before too and they gave me the right results. I now am a little skeptical about them

Geez! I'm surprised to hear that, I love Target products. I've never used their tests, though, and probably won't now!

I agree! I got a box a few years back and the same thing. A positive on every one and I was not pregnant. I researched and found it to happen a lot. I also found where someone had used tap water and gotten a positive result, it may be a post on JM but it was 2-3 years ago so i don't remember where id seen the pics etc.

We don't have a Target here, but good to know in case I'm ever in Buffalo and go to the Target there. I'll just stick with my IC's!

I literally just took an up and up brand test a few hours ago and it came back with a faint but pretty clear positive line. I then took a First Response test to double confirm, but it came back negative. I then took the other target brand test I had left and it came back negative. I'm SO SO confused now. I will never buy up and up again.

Thank you for the heads up! I have only used dollar store and FRER. I had been tempted to try Target HPT because the OPK's have been working so well for me.
