Hello. Hoping you ladies could help me with my concern:

We are on our 2nd cycle of TTC #2. Before TTC, I had been on birth control. My first period was 4 days late, only lasted 3 days and very light. This past month, my period was 2 days late and was a normal flow and lasted 10 days long. Yikes! After 5 days, it appeared to be stopping and I stopped using tampons. However, 2 days later, I noticed that it returned. I would wipe and notice blood (red). Not enough to use a tampon but it was there. It continued and turned into dark brown blood. Now...I'm not noticing any CM and I should be ovulating in 3 days. HELP!

Someone had mentioned that I could have had a chemical pregnancy. Another friend thought that the blood was just old blood that was getting out of my system (since it was dark brown).

Any thoughts? I did take a pregnancy test on the first missed day of my period this month and it was negative.
