Hey ladies,

After 2+ years of NTNP and another 9 cycles of very actively TRYING my husband & I finally met with a Fertility Specialist. We've since done a sperm analysis, bloodwork, ultra sound of my uterus & ovaries, and most recently an HSG. All the tests came back good, with the exception of my HSG. My left tube is entirely blocked & my right tube isn't much better. So, without any real use of my tubes, it's looking like it will be IVF for us.

The news was obviously a but upsetting, but I can't say that it was unexpected. I've doubted my fertility for a few years (mostly due to just having a FEELING that something wasn't right) and it was a relief to finally have a real, solid diagnosis. At least now we can move forward. At least know we have answers.

To all those women out there who have been NTNP for awhile, and who are extremely skeptical of their fertility... I say, GO TALK TO A SPECIALIST! The sooner the better! Don't waste your most Fertile Years wondering if things are okay, or if you'll get pregnant when you actually start 'trying'. The sooner you KNOW where you stand fertility wise & reproductively, the better off you will be. Best wishes to all of you
