I am new on these boards and hoping for some advice/assurance. I have been trying to conceive for over a year now and I just had a HSG test last cycle which came back normal, my tubes were open and my husbands test came back normal so now my doctor has put me on 50mg of Clomid. This is my first day taking it and a few hours after taking my first dose, I started getting really bad cramps. I would say it was moderate pain, enough to notice. I called my doctor and they said that I am having side effects to the Clomid and can take Advil for the cramps but if the symptoms get worse, to give them a call.

Has anyone else experienced any kind of side effects when taking Clomid?? How many people out there have taken Clomid and gotten pregnant? Also, has Clomid NOT worked for anyone?

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
