Ok so we have been ttc for a yr now with one loss at 6 weeks and after a disasterous cycle with soy iso and with Dh having trouble with his testosterone patch we decided to take 2 cycles off.

For the past week DH has been commenting on how nice it would be to get a positive this month as our anniversary is this month. I had been comfortable with our decision to hold off and hadnt been testing for ovulation at all. We DTD last night and the night before because in all honesty I knew my O time was coming up and wanted to get it in before we had to wait a week lol. Then this morning I had alot of cramping and thought "oh no i cant be ovulating yet!" so just to see I took an opk.....BLARING POSITIVE!

So I guess I may have a chance this cycle after all, DH is happy but I think I am just going to try and pretend we didnt get there in time amd keep up the relaxed worry free mentality if possible lol.

Sounds like a very good plan, I hope this is your month.

Can I ask what happened when you took the soy iso?? I took it last cycle and it really messed things up for me.

I am right there with you. I know when I O'd because of pains and I am pretty sure our timing was okay. But I am just acting like we didn't get it timed right and there is no way it possible. Its actually been a very stress free few weeks.
Good luck though, and happy almost Anniversary.
TTC my first! - 29th cycle.

Thank you sam and good luck! Fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Melissa- I took soy iso for the first time last cycle and went from a predictable 32 day cycle to a 42 day cycle and I didnt O until day 26 or 28 . We timed everuthing well but still got a (-) . We talked about trying again but only after a few cycles off and under a different dose. And to top it off, not sure if this was caused by SI or just a coincidence, but my hair is falling out, I brush my hair and have to clean the brush out after each use. It is getting better now but the first couple weeks after starting SI were the worst !
