I'm 12 DPO, would a blood test show HCG? I've taken 3 tests in the last 3 days, all negative, no faint lines, except for a blue dye one, but I know those can be evaps. I'm going in to the dr. today anyways for another issue, could I ask for a blood test just so I know and don't have to keep testing? Or would there be a chance it wouldn't even show up in that yet?

A blood test would show up at 12dpo....I think it would show up as early as 2 days after implantation. You should ask for it. Keep us posted & GL hun!

It all depends on when you implanted, and it is possible to implant right up until 12 dpo. So it could show up but then again it could also give a false negative. I guess it's up to you and how well you handle getting BFN's. I would do it but just keep in mind that its not over until AF shows Good luck!

"Implantation is the beginning of pregnancy at which stage the embryo adheres to the wall of the uterus. At this early stage of prenatal development, the embryo is called a blastocyst. Implantation of a fertilized ovum is most likely to occur about 9 days after ovulation, but can range between 6 to 12 days." taken off countdowntopregnancy.com
