So last week I got a referral from my main doctor to see a fertility specialist, and I finally had my appointment yesterday!

we went over my history which is for the most part pretty normal...
Then we started talking about my husband, I told the doctor he had an SA done about 6 months ago and it came out normal ( that's what the doc told us) well my doctor tells me that his sa was FAR from normal average sperm per ML is 20 million and my husband has 5 million! I don't know why we were ever told it was normal!

He suggested that we move forward to an IUI, after I get an HSG! he mentioned that we have about a 2% chance of conceiving naturally.

I feel super overwhelmed!

We are considering starting our first IUI in September.
Thankfully my insurance covers all but $200.00 off it!!

That's a lot of information to take in!

So that's my little update, could be better but at the same time it could be worse!

I'm sorry to hear the news you got. I almost wonder is some Dr's just dont know how to interrupt tests. But WOW to have an insurance cover all but $200 is amazing, so many dont cover any.
I really wish you luck and prayers in your journey.
Did you say what the chances are with doing IUI?

Thank you for the amazing siggy *Kiliki*
