My computer broke down so I have been MIA for a while, but I'm back now We also got our test results back, my FSH was 4.4 which was great news, but hubby didn't have such great news, he had a REALLY high sperm count, but only 30% were normal and only 55% of those were swimming forward. They suggested IUI, but hubby wants to try and fix the problem himself first. Any suggestions of how to improve that? Also, he was taking Prednisone at the time of the sample, could that have messed things up? Thanks ladies!

My hubby didn't have such great news at one of his SAs so I bought some fertilaid for men and he began taking it. His numbers greatly improved but we still had to proceed with IUI because of secondary infertility issues on my part.

Edit to add: you might do some research on vitamins that are good for sperm and discuss with him what he's willing to try.

Wish you guys luck!

My DH had a bad SA too. We started him on fertilaid for 3 months and then did another SA... It was much better!! We still did IUI because of my issues, but I'm pregnant now! And I really believe it's because of his improved count/motility
Stopped BCP & began TTC in January 2013- no ovulation, no cycles for 3 months
May-July 2013- provera cycles with no ovulation
August/September 2013-50 mg clomid cycles with no ovulation
October 2013- SA revealed low motility--referred to RE
January 2014- DHs repeat SA came back "normal"! I was diagnosed with PCOS
February 2014- IUI #1 on Valentine's Day with 2 mature follicles- BFN
March 2014- BCP to clear up cysts
April 2014- IUI #2 on 4/9/14 with 3 mature follicles and 3 catching up! BFP at 10dpiui!!!!!! So thankful!!! Beta #1 @ 13 DPO- 167; Beta #2 @ 15 DPO- 384!

I heard of the male fertilaid too. Is he willing to try it?
