I think we discussed this before... and I found this on www.peeonastick.com:

The FM sticks measure LH (one line) and estrogen (one line); the HPT sticks measure LH and hCG (on the same line; the other line is a control line.) Incidentally, FM sticks are interesting in that the estrogen line gets lighter as estrogen increases, whereas the LH line gets darker as it increases

I just thought I would pass it along. It is nice when we know what to look for ourselves. Do you still plan to use your monitor next month (I am still keeping my fingers crossed that you won't need to though )? I know you didn't have much luck with it this month. I wonder if you called the 1-800 number if they would send you a coupon for free sticks since you used up a bunch and it didn't even catch your LH surge...

Thanks for the info. I may give it a second chance next month, but I am still going to use OPK's as a back up! What cracks me up is 3 days after the dang thing gave up on me my LH surge hit .

I haven't called them yet, but probably will.

which is the best to use? I have used 2 different brands and neither caught my surge. Although I can tell I've O or am Oing b/c of my symptoms. Confused
