Hello all,

I am new here, and i have a few questions. Im 19 and i think i might be pregnant. I had my full blown period in january, but a very light one in february and im almost two weeks late this month. I had sex on the last day of my period in january, and then this last week. I am bloated and have cramps and major back pain, and my breasts are very tender. Could these signs point to pregnancy? I took two test last week and both BFN. what should i do?

Hmmm....hard to say. If it's been a week since you tested last, then I'd test again.

Thank you, Mrs.Black2006 for my beautiful siggie!

to AIP! This is definitely the place to come with questions. Your symptoms could be early pregnancy. I agree that you should test again this week to see what you get. If you still get a BFN and no AF, I would schedule an appointment with your OB/GYN to find out what's going on with your cycle. So many things can cause your cycle to get weird; so, the best person to ask is your doctor. They can run tests to help determine what is going on with you and answer your questions. Very Good luck Hon! KUP!!

Did you recently go off of any form of hormonal birth control? If so that can affect your body for up to four cycles. Not months, cycles so if you have a 60 day cycle that counts as one, not two even though it was technically two months. If you didn't then I would test again and if it's still negative go to your doctor. A lot of things, stress included, can delay your period, so it's a good idea to be seen in case something not so good is causing the delay. Your doctor will also probably do a blood HCG test to definitely confirm or rule out pregnancy.
~Thanks Babydoll213 for my awesome siggie!~

Going by averages, it doesn't seem likely that you would have conceived on the last day of your period in January, but if you did then you should have a positive test way before now.

Your signs are also classic signs of PMS, as well as early pregnancy. I'd wait another week and see if period shows, if not then I would go to the dr. and get a blood test done. If you conceived recently, it might be too early to test positive on a home pregnancy test.
Thanks to *Sharon* for the siggy <3
