I am now one day late and the past two days my dads dog is bein so cuddly with me. Usually she is up his butt but shes been with me constantly usually laying next to me or on my lower belly. Can dogs sense preganancy and if so can they sense it this early?

Thanks ahead of time!

My dog has been extra cuddly too and normally she's kind of independent. I hope these are good signs!

Congrats on your BPF! With my situation usually my dads dog is distant from me and only comes to me when I have food or a treat but lately she been sleeping with me, cuddling with me, and laying on my belly whenever I lay on my back.. And today my dad ordered food and she ran out there but came right back in and laid with me, usually she will beg for food.

Also my cat is usually cuddly but lately as you said whenever I lay down she gets on top of me and sorta massages me, I thought it was weird but now that you said yours does that, maybe thats why!

So I'm hoping this is all a good sign.

lol I thought I was the only one that noticed things like this. With my first child I had a cat and all of a sudden one day she started sleeping on my stomach and a few days later I took a test and it was positive.

The the other day my cat kept trying to sleep on my stomach, which she has never wanted to do before now, and the next morning i woke up and took a test right away and sure enough it was positive.

Maybe is a good sign for you!

I totally believe it. My cats aren't all that cuddly either, they have their moments but it's not that often. Both times I was pregnant I couldn't keep them off of me whenever I sat or laid down so yes, that could be a good sign. Good luck!

I believe animals and young children can sense it. My best friend from high school told me her dogs became very attached to her the whole pregnancy. My 2 1/2 year old was the one who told me I was pregnant...kept saying there was a baby in my belly and started telling me a week before my period was due!

I definitely think animals can sense it. Animals are amazing that way. The kinds of things you can train a dog to do just completely blow my mind. Best of luck!

My cat is the same way. Also, my dog, when I was in labor with Ryan, was hanging off me until I left to go to the hospital.

my DD's dog did this. If I didn't just find out I was pg he would have given it away. He dug through a huge pile of dirty laundry, grabbed my undies, and ran away with them. Every single time I came into the house he sat right beside me. He is my exes dog, and was loyal to him until I became pregnant. They also always had their noses shoved where the sun don't shine (which really isn't comfortable lol)
