Ok, I just figured out today what DPO means! I am a blond, yes.
But when do you start counting? Like is day 1 the day I had an "ovulation" sign on my clearblue easy fertility monitor? Because you don't ovulate until a couple days after that, correct?
Just trying to figure out what "DPO" I am.

The easiest way is to temp. The day after you O, you usually get a temp spike and the day you get the temp spike is 1 dpo. Some women just go off symptoms like O pain and cm. When I O I can just about pin point the exact from pain on one side or the other. When you're about to O, you usually have ewcm and the day after it will dry up. You can guesstemate by the length of you cycle. If you have a 28 day cycle you will probably O around cd 14 give or take a couple of days. GL!!!!

You'd be 1dpo, the day after you O. Like Christine said, it can be hard to pinpoint the exact O day unless you're temping, so you may just need to guesstimate based off when you had signs of O. You will typically O 12-36 hours after you get your LH surge. Does the monitor actually detect your O day, or, does it work similarly to OPKs to tell you when you're surging about about to O? If it tells you you're surging, then you can estimate that you would O either the next day or the day after. Does this make sense?

If you are using OPk's the easiest way is to figure you USUALLY ovulate the day AFTER the positive Opk, then the day after that would be 1DPO. So say you get a positive opk on the 12th, you ovulate on the 13th and then the 14th would be 1DPO. Make sense?

Ok, thanks girls!! The tests tell me when my lh surge is coming soon. So I will usually have 2 days that my test will give me a big egg as the sign I will be ovulating.
