So I have had Mirena for over a year now. I am getting all these crazy symptoms. I am sick now so I am extremely nauseous, but prior to me getting sick I was constantly nauseous, almost at the point of throwing up for about a month. Also out of no where I started breaking out, which I had since I was pregnant with my last daughter. Sometimes thinking of food grosses me out completely. My boobs hurt all the time. I obviously dont get my period at all because I got an iud. I heard that sometimes mirena can give you false pregnancy symptoms but I want to know how many people have actually had false symptoms

I started getting signs like this about a year after I had my mirena. It's not very likely to get pregnant on the mirena, it does happen, but most times the signs are caused by the hormones in the mirena itself despite it being a low dose.

All you can really do is take a test or talk to your dr about it. If it gets too bad, then maybe consider an IUD without hormones or another bc option all together.
Thanks to *Sharon* for the siggy <3
