I took a pregnancy test on Jan 24th and I got a faint positive. A few days later I spotted and again on the 29th and again on the 31st. Took a test again today it came out negative. What could be the reason for this? Is it possible that I was carrying twins and lost one? I had tiny barely noticeable cramps that lasted about a minute but only once. I'm going to go to the doctor. Just want to know if anyone has experienced this? Thanks.

I don't mean to worry you at all, but it sounds like it could possibly be a chemical pregnancy. Your doctor will be able to tell you more when you see him/her. But from the stuff I've saw over the years, a chemical is what it sounds like. I'm hoping I'm wrong. Good luck!

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I had 2 when we were ttc my daugher.
If you were not TTC and testing, you wouldn't have known you were pg at all.
Good luck at the doctor.

I agree that it could be a chemical. What type of tests did you use? Certain brands can give very convincing evaporation lines too.
