Hi ladies! Im brand new here and I have a question. I dont know what to think. Im 9DPO today and took an First Response Early Detection today this afternoon and got a very faint positive. I called my OB and they did a blood test (rushed results) and they called and said it was negative, but to call back and do it again in a few weeks. I did some reading online and found some other people who have experienced this but still been pregnant. Then I took a Clear Blue Easy Advanced test a few hours ago and got a "not pregnant". Am I just wishful thinking? Is it possible that the HCG is too low for the blood test and the CBE to pick up? But then I think if that was the case, the FR would have picked it up either, right? Im going to take another CBE in the morning with FMU and see what it says. My cycles are long...32 days...so the waiting takes forever! This is only my first month TTC so if Im not Ill just try again next month...I hope I am tho

The CBE do take longer to show positive! I'm not sure about the blood test I would wait a couple day before I retest that way it gives time for the HCG to increase to show a better positive

Yes, the Clear blue digi do take longer. I tested with a internet cheapie at 8dpo with a faint, but clear positive. So I started using the clear blue at 10dpo and it was negative. I tried using them through 12 dpo and never did get a positive. Idk if the batch was bad or what but I have a 15mth old so I was for sure preggo

Good luck! You can always post pictures here to see if we see the line as well

Did the FRER have color or was it a grey line?

Go back and get another blood draw on Monday and maybe then if you are pregnant it will show up. GL.

I believe most doctors say anything less than 25 of HCG is negative and the CBE picks up less than that.

I'd wait a few more days and test again and go back for another blood test.
