My boyfriend is so in denial about the possibility of me being pregnant. Even though we haven't used any form of BC in 3 years. No matter how much I insist I am having feelings unusual to my body and very similar to pregnancy, he says hurtful things insinuating that its all in my head.. Any one else?

I read your other post also-- I think the problem may be that your boyfriend is partly right. It is actually VERY easy to 'psych' yourself into pregnancy symptoms. I know the many of us here on the board have at some point or another. Since you did have an 'oops' moment and you know in your head thwt it's a possibility, your mind and body can play all kinds of tricks on you.

The tough thing is that many symptoms can either be pregnancy or just an odd cycle. When you start thinking about it and paying close attention you start noticing thingsat at you may not have noticed before. Then you run circles around yourself trying to analyze every little twinge. Trust me, so many of us have been there!!

There really is no way to know if you're pregnant until a few days before your period is due. About 5 days before you can start testing and watching to see if a line shows up. Before then, my best advice is to try not to think about it too much and definitely don't talk to your boyfriend about it. There will be plenty of time to think and talk about it if and when you get a positive test!

Best wishes and I hope you get the answer you're looking for .

Thank you so much for the reply.. I go back and forth between believing this could be a real pregnancy and it just being impossible to feel these things. Either way I need to see a doctor because there is something, no matter what it is, happpening inside me that is unusual to my body. I know my body fairly well and things have been abnormal. I'm just disappointed that my boyfriends not more supportive since I can't bring it up to anyone else this early. I just need to discuss it somehow

Feel free to vent and discuss here all you like--we all understand your feelings! How many days left before your period is due? Don't stress too much yet about the feelings your having. They could very well be pregnancy or possibly also just an off cycle, which can happen from time to time. Hormones are strange things!

No, I have never experienced that. My DH always knew that anytime we had sex without birth control there was a possibility of pregnancy.
