We've been taking Molly to the chiropractor for her reflux. She's been 3 times. She was probably throwing up her entire bottle about 2 times a day. Since the last chiropractic visit - she's only been sick once in a week! I hope this continues.

The chiropractor is a great family friend - so I completely trust him. It's more of a massage that he does down her back. Amazing!

I read about this, but was unsure. I never did it, but it is nice that it's working for you!

Thanks Jessica (dettmer26) for my wonderful siggy!

That's great! I had heard about that after we got Nathan feeling better. We may be moving soon, but after we figure out what where we're going to be I'd like to take my kiddos and myself to a chiropractor. I've been reading that there are lots of issues that can be helped when you're properly aligned.

Is she on meds too?

I've been hearing a lot about this lately but haven't been sure if it actually works or not.

Is it covered by insurance?

I didn't know that could help with reflux. That's great that it's helping her! I'm going to look into it. Kaeden was throwing up what seemed like his entire bottle after ever bottle for months but it's not that bad anymore.

Yikes! I forgot to come back and check on this thread that I posted..... sorry!

Yes, Molly is on Prevacid. We are still seeing the chiropractor - we were originally going once a week, then once every 2 weeks, and now he wants to see us once a month. Because he is a family friend (and he is a great guy) our chiropractor does not charge us for the babies visits (Owen goes for his torticollis). Molly is a different child since going to the chiropractor. My Pedi agrees that it works - his only concern is that it doesn't continue to work. He thinks the body builds up a tolerance and it eventually stops working. My hope is that she will grow out of her reflux by that time.
