Hi there! My name is Liz, and I have a 6-month baby named Elliott who has reflux. I have been meaning to join this board for some time, and I am finally getting around to it!

I have been married for almost 7 years, and we had our first baby in March after quite awhile of trying. I work full time, and DH is a SAHD for now. Our little guy is definitely the best thing that ever happened to us! We love being parents, and have learned so much already. We have a doggy, a great church, and a really old house. We are also Green Bay Packers fans, of course. That about sums up our lives.

I have noticed that almost NO ONE around me has any experience with a reflux baby.... which is strange, since many babies have it. I find most people say, "What does that mean? Doesn't that just mean he spits up alot?" I do my best to explain it, and hope that people will understand a little better. Even many of my mom friends who haven't experienced it firsthand, or don't know someone who has, don't really get how reflux TAKES OVER your life in many aspects.

Anyway, I would love to join in with you ladies! It's so great to know there are other moms who "get" what reflux is, and can offer support and encouragement. I am looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome! I love the people who don't understand how one day I can get a million things done but the one day we're out of milk I can't make it to the store. Just life with a reflux baby, you do your best.
Mom to 3 (1998, 2000, and 2009), step-mom to 1 (1995), two four-legged babies who bark, wife and full time student.
My days are busy, my house is messy, and my heart is full!
