Welcome to the board! Sorry to hear all the reflux troubles you have been dealing with. I swear so many people under estimate how hard it is to have a baby with it.
My son, Bryson is 5 months actual, 3 months adjusted and he was diagnosed with reflux at around 6 weeks. He too projectile vomited pretty much at every bottle and screamed in pain for a long time. Hopefully once you find a formula and medication that works for him things will get a lot better. Bryson was on Nutramigen for a long time and hated it too. Unfortunately though it was the only thing that worked and after a couple weeks he finally took to it. He is also severely lactose intolerant which also narrows down the options when trying different formulas so recently I switched him to the Similac Sensitive and he right away went up an ounce a feed and its actually agreeing with him. For some reason the powder makes him projectile vomit again but the concentrate seems to do the trick! We originally tried zantac for him and quickly switched to prevacid which has been working really well.
Hopefully we can try and help you figure things out as a lot of us seem to be on different recipes that work for each individual baby!

welcome. my son also had choking and cyanotic spells. he was put on prevacid at 2 months old and stayed on it until a week before he turned 3 years old. my dd will be 6 in 3 months and is still on prevacid. prevacid is not weight sensitive, so they can be on a pretty hefty dose at a young age. ds was on two 15 mg solutabs a day at 7 months old when he weighed only 12 pounds. he took one in the morning and one at night. maybe you could try that. also, have you tried reglan? its a gastric emptying drug and helps with reflux and can be used with prevacid.

good luck, i hope you find something that works. i know how frustrating it is.

Big thanks to KimberlyD0 for my amazing siggy

Welcome and thanks for the intro! My name is Lauren, and I am the host of this board. My son Wesley is 16 months old, diagnosed with severe reflux and milk allergy at around 8 weeks. I breast fed him until he was 6 months old, then he started formula because I was having a hard time adjusting my diet to control his reflux. He did the choking, constant spitting up, turning blue, sleeping in a swing, crying all night thing until he was about a year old. He is doing much better now that he is walking. We tried every med, but Axid worked the best for us.
