My son has been on Zantac from 3 weeks until 11 months.

It wasn't working for him anymore so the doctor changed him to Prilosec. He hated it and it gave him a rash.

The doctor changed him to Prevaid shortlyt before Thanksgiving. It works but he can't sleep until 4 am on it.

Help! The doctor says we exhausted all the medications for reflux.

What does your child take and if they get the sleep problems what do to help?

Interesting. We used everything under the sun, but Axid worked well for us. Wesley never slept well, but I think it was a result of the reflux, not the medication. I did not see any difference in his sleep when the medications changed. I know Wesley would reflux when he was laid down (on his tummy to avoid choking), so I'm sure it would be difficult to sleep that way.

what about Nexium?

and we have the opposite, Avery was never a good sleeper, started Prevacid around 2 months old after Zantac didn't work. We weaned her off it around 11 months with no issues. Though it has come back now at 18 months. Since starting her back she is now sleeping through the night and she never did that

Bryson never had any issues with sleeping when he was switched to Prevacid, he actually slept a lot better! Sorry, I don't have any advice!
