Do you do any kind of Mother's day activities with your kids?

Is it bad if I don't this year?? I feel like if we do Mother's day, we need to do Father's day...but we're not in school for that (and would they really remember to give it to their dad's in 2 months?).

I always do something for Mother's Day. I am taking pics of my kids and printing them in black and white. Then we glue a poem to the back and tie a ribbon. Very easy and moms love it. We did this last year too.

My take on Father's Day is this: Mom will make sure that the kids do something for Dad but Dad doesn't always remember to include the kids in taking care of Mom. We aren't in school for Father's Day either.

I think Mother's Day is such a bigger market because moms are totally sentimental over it. Dads....not so much. I am sure the moms of the house will do something special with the kids for dad because, again, moms are sentimental. Don't feel bad. The only thing I would be cautious about would be a student who may be dealing with some "mom issues"(divorce, death, no mom, etc.). Doing something for mom could cause emotional problems.

Thank you for my beautiful siggy, AlexAiden Mommy!
