Has anyone started classroom prep yet? Our school requires us to pack up our rooms at the end of every school year because they re-do all the floors every summer. Our rooms were done first so I have been unpacking and prepping already. I have the furniture all set up how I want it and now I'm just going through my cabinets and organizing and de-cluttering.

I'm already so excited for the new school year!

BIG thank you to *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy!

I will start next week when I can get into it. Our school is pretty easy when it comes to the end of the year packing. Things can stay on the walls. All things need to be put away so that floors can be cleaned. I just put all things inro cabinets and my 2 closets. I am already itching for the new year to start.

I am excited for a new year to start as well, but I still haven't been told definitively what I'll be teaching; therefore, I haven't ordered anything! I am hoping that within the next few days, things are figured out and I can place some orders. I don't start until after Labor Day, but still!! It's been in the upper 90s for quite some time and my school is not air-conditioned, so I have not gone in to begin setting up. Maybe I'm more nervous about being ready than excited to start!

My husband wanted me to take a full month break from work so I didn't go into my classroom all of June but I have been in twice in July to organize. I will be spending most of my time there the next two weeks because school starts so soon. I need to get my furniture in order and finish organizing and putting up posters.

I am so excited about this year. It is my fourth year teaching, third at my current school and I am ready! (Well, almost).

They just started cleaning our school!! We have summer school there, so we get cleaned last. My room tends to be one of the last rooms cleaned too b/c of the location of it. I'll be gone all of next week, but I'll prob try to go in the week after to see if I can get in to try to get some more stuff done! I've been in several times in the last few weeks, but I couldn't really do a TON b/c everything is shoved in the closets.

I have been in once a week for the past 3 weeks. I have most of my furniture where I want it. The desks and chairs are still stacked in the middle of the room because it is easier to get around. I only have one week of summer left. Teachers report back on the 8th. My boys are going to stay with my mom during the week of teacher inservice so I will be at school working in my room on the 6th and 7th - without my kids. I usually have to drag them up there. I have tried planning my work days when they had camp days at church.
