I'm curious...what bottles seem to work best for breastfeed babies?

With my own daughter, nothing worked! I really bought one of every bottle they have at Target. Plus a few from babies R Us, the only one I didn't try was drop in style bottles, or silicone nipples instead of laytex.

A few of my expectant friends and parents are asking me. And since I work with infants -- it's a good idea to know [currently dealing with a baby who refuses a bottle] -- so please HELP!

Also it'd be great if the bottle is glass or if it is made of type 5 plastic or least letching *sp* plastics

Unfortunately, it's different for every baby. What one baby will take, another won't, and some never take a bottle at all. There's no one bottle that works for every breastfed baby though. The only thing you can do is to keep trying different types of nipples and different flows. Sometimes, it has nothing to do with those things though, a baby is just attached to his/her mom's breast and doesn't want to accept an artificial nipple.

I'm sorry. I can't help you either. Olivia will not take a bottle and I've tried all kinds.

I have to agree.. everyone baby is different. My son prefered the skinny bottles (IE VentAire) but my daughter will take any kind. I use the Playtex Nurser drop ins because of all the bad news on plastics these days. I say buy one of every kind of bottle until you find one that works LOL! Then get a big set of that kind.

They make some directed to nursing moms..

Adiri: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2968119

or any bottles with a *wide* nipple--> Wide Dr. Browns.. Avent.. wide ventaire.. and playtex nurser
