Can you use GV on adults with thrush in their mouth too? My son's physical therepists daughter gets it often because of her asthma meds. She is also diabetic which I find it weird that they give her nystatin meds for it because it is sugar based. Even Karen (the therepist) didn't know it was sugar based, and they couldn't figure out why it messed with her diabetes meds. Anyway, could she use GV for treating it? How obvious is the purple color? She is a teenager I dont think she would want a purple mouth

Just curious, so I could suggest something helpful to her.

I don't see why it would be harmful, it's safe for babies, so it should be for everyone. The purple color would probably be a little obvious though. :/

She can use it. Shed have a purple mouth but it woudl probably be less obvious since she probably doesnt wipe her face on purple boobs all day long lol. If she applied at night, then it probably would only be in her cheeks & fade by morning.

Another thing she can try is grapefruit seed extract. She should combine either one with probiotics. She should also rinse her toothbrush in grapefruit seed extract and/or boil it to prevent from passing it back to herself again. (which is probably one reason why its recurring).
