Hi ladies,

I had a lipase problem with my milk last time around. I ended up throwing away about 1500 oz of frozen BM. I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown when I finally figured out I had no choice. The milk tasted disgusting and my son wouldn't touch it.

Anyhow, my question is the following: Has anyone had a lipase problem, and if so did you have the problem with subsequent pregnancies?? I'm just wondering if it will always be an issue this time around, or if BM can differ with pregnancies.

I was wondering the same thing. I had the lipase problem with my first, and just gave up pumping and only did it when I could use it before I had to freeze it (i only noticed the sour smell if it had been frozen and reheated). I haven't tried yet this time, but I figure it'll be the same.

My boys are my life.
