I noticed that some of my frozen BM stash was going to expire soon so I started giving Hayden a few bottles and since he started on stage 2 jar food he's only drinking 2 or 3 ounces at each feeding, he is obviously getting full on the jar foods and drinking less milk. When he was on stage 1 he would drink about 5 ounces, should I go back to stage 1 foods so he gets more milk or is less milk okay?

just to give you some background Hayden is 8 months old and weighs about 16 pounds and eats 2 jars of stage 2 a day..

That sounds okay, most babies will continue to increase thier solid intake and decrease the amount of milk and formula they take. Just be sure that he's getting the majority of his nutrition from breastmilk and not solids, for a few months more.
