some of my frozen milk in going to expires within the next week or two so I have been trying to give a bottle or two during the day to use some of it up and replace it. Since I stopped working and Hayden hasn't had a bottle in almost 3 months he is basically rejecting the bottle..I have Dr Browns standard bottles now and I'm wondering if they are to thin..what bottles do you have success with that is most like the breast??

My baby doesnt take a bottle, Ive tried most of them Ive had the best luck with the Nuby with handles. She basically chews the milk out, but she drinks most of it. She doesnt get it everyday.

I used playtex drop ins with my other children. I now have a 3 month old who is only BF, she absolutely WILL NOT take the bottle. I leave my husband with a bottle, but she will suck on it for 2 seconds then spit everything out and cry until she falls asleep. Though recently she took it because I was gone for 3 hours, and she ate 2 ounces while I was gone... Hubby said she kept spitting it out, but finally took it when he would let her suck 5 sucks, then take it out and keep doing it that way.

Playtex drop ins for my little man but we have tried several before we settled on those and honestly he doesnt care either way. DS #1 was the same way. As long as they have/had something to suck on they didnt care he he.

I've used playtex drop-ins with all 3 of my breastfed kids, but my last one gave me a hard time with which nipples he preferred. I ended up having to use the flat latex ones.

Walter refuses bottles, but I have found that he will take an ounce or two from the Mams. They are super cute, the nipple is really soft, and they come in nice colors and are BPA free.
mama to 5 yr old DS1 , 3 year old DS2 , and nursling DD .
