I'm EBFing. We're going to the fair Saturday and there is very limited seating space for nursing so I was going to bring a bottle. I plan to pump a bit each morning this week and bring what I pump. I pumped 3oz today, and hope to have about 12oz to bring with us. Here's my questions:

Milk from today will still be good on Saturday if refrigerated, right?
What temperature should I bring it at? I have an insulated bottle holder, but if I want it to be "warm" by the time he drinks it how can I do that?

Any other tips for me? I know he'll take a bottle, he's taken a few from us in the past when DH and I had a date night and left Alex with my MIL. I just have never taken him out of the house with one!

My boys are my life.

Milk lasts 7 days when refrigerated, so it will still be good. You can bring it in an insultated cooler or bottle holder, whatever you think will keep it the coolest. I'm not sure about warming it up though, I have seen moms run them under hot water for a bit to warm a bottle up. Depending on the location, they might have a good are for that. You may be able to let it come up to room temperature beforehand and then keep it for at least a few hours. I would keep it in a cooler still, to keep the temperature, just so it doesn't get too warm.
I never tried to feed DD a bottle of expressed milk outside of the house, so I can't give you any advice from experience. Here's a link about storing breastmilk though that might help: http://www.kellymom.com/bf/pumping/milkstorage.html

It will be good on Saturday as the previous poster said.

I have 2 of these and they work great. You just press a button on them and they heat up the bottle. Only thing is you will need more than one because in order to reactivate it after you have activated it you have to boil it. But I would think 2 would do you and after activated if you keep it in the thermal pouch it may stay warm enough to warm the next bottle.

If we lived closer I would just let you use mine

Also search on Babies R Us for bottle warmer. They have another brand that does the same thing but is 2 dollars cheaper but I havent tried that brand.

When we have gone places I take the refrigerated bottle of milk with me in an insulted holder, but then take it out before he would need it so it has a chance to warm up.
