I was reading yesterday and one of the books suggests going to a Breast Feeding class. The one woman said the tips saved her. Has anyone been to the classes? If I can find them, when they time comes, I plan to try to attend, but Im intrested in hearing what they have to say.
Tips to help keep them from bleeding and getting sore?

I think it really depends on where you take the classes. I would look into your local Le Leche League group and find out if they offer them.

I took a BF class at the hospital where I had my baby and I found it very helpful. They spent a lot of time explaining proper latch and positioning the baby. So far I haven't had a cracked or bleeding nipple. (knock on wood)

I attended free Pre/Post-natal nutrition classes once a month and some of the classes were devoted to breastfeeding. I also read about it in books, and talked to friends and family about bfing.
I found the classes to be very helpful. I also had a very positive experience with all the support I got from my midwives after I had the baby. I'll try to find the title of the book I read.
