Hi ladies,

I got some sort of stomach bug and was unable to keep anything down for about 24 hours straight. I'm back to work today and trying to drink drink drink to rehydrate, but my pumped quantities are significantly less than I used to produce.

Is my supply going to go back to normal once I get some liquid and calories back into my system, or am I facing an uphill battle to regain my supply?

Chloe - 6 Months

I've had this happen with both boys, and each time my supply came back. Just take care of yourself and keep up the normal routine of nursing or pumping.

Good luck, and hope you feel better soon!

I was sick last week and I'm still recovering. DD doesn't seem to have any problems at all nursing, but my pumping at work quantities have been going down over the past few months so I'm still struggling with that. Lots of water, lots of food (as you can handle it), I'm also trying to eat more oatmeal and hoping it will help.
