I there! I'm in the BF'ing past 1 yr sub-forum, but wanted some advice for my niece and her nb. So he's had trouble nursing, but it sounds like they are doing better now. Her concern is that he seems hungry every 15 minutes so she feels like he might not be getting enough. I told her to let him nurse whenever he wants, especially since they had problems in the past and he's only two weeks old. However, what is your advice for getting him to eat more at a time so she can have a little break between feedings? Help?
Thank you GraysMama for my amazing siggy!

how does she know he is hungry? newborns basically nurse round the clock, so i do not see the issue. Tell her to make herself comfy and have some snacks and water nearby and relax and enjoy her newborn. Also, she can try to find somone (like our local la Leche does it) to help her nurse in a wrap or carrier so she is hands free.
