I thawed some bm I pumped a week ago and on the top it looked like melted butter. It never looks like that. I'm almost 19 weeks pregnant and all the milk I pump now has a yellow tinge to it, when it used to be white. I tasted the milk and it was bitter and made me gag, it wasn't sweet at all and I threw it out. Well I made her another bottle the next day and fed it to her, she didn't finish it all but when she was done the yellow tinge was there again! It seriously looked like melted butter sitting on top of it. My pump parts and stuff were clean. I don't know what's wrong with it.

The only reason I think it's odd is because it's never ever been like that, and it was literally bright yellow just like butter. Do you know why my bm is yellow tinged at 19 weeks?

My pumped milk always has a layer on it too...i just looked in the fridge though and the liquid part is a "darker" color than the top fatty layer, the top layer is white and the bottom is like a cream color. I'm not sure about the yellow tinge though
