Hi all. Im due with baby #3 in august. I ordered a ring sling from another mommy and have a moby wrap but was wondering what are the best wraps/carriers to nurse in? My older two are 3yrs and 2 yrs old so I want to make sure I have use of my hands while I nurse. I tried to nurse my daughter in the moby wrap but she hated it and it was really hot. They were both winter babies and this baby will be born when its hot out so something light weight would be great. I am hoping the ring sling will work good for nursing. The other mommy is making it out of gauze so its a lighter material. My daughter loved being in the moby but just to sleep in not to nurse in. Any advice would be great Thank you.

I never did a lot of that last time. I had a ring sling in the beginning, and probably did nurse in it occasionally, but I did not love my ring sling anyway, so I didn't use it much. I have a Moby this time, and I'm curious to see how it will work with breastfeeding. I really want to get a woven wrap at some point, but will probably wait a while. I also have a Beco, but I don't know how well that would work for breastfeeding. I do like it, though.

I haven't tried it since Weston was about a month old. Didn't work so well then. Might work better now that he's 6 mo I bet!

I have a k'tan, mei tai and am getting a woven wrap tomorrow and I actually like nursing in the mei tai. Super easy and even though you can see in at the sides if I'm out in public I just use my udder cover as extra coverage.

I nurse in the ergo as well. You just have to lower the shoulder and hip strap and drop baby down. My little girl is 6 months old now and she is getting a little too big for me to do it comfortably, but up until now it worked great!
