So I just had my 3rd child. I breast fed both my girls. They were 15 months apart. I was a young mom then lol they are now 5 and 6. So anyway I am beastfeeding my 3 wek old baby boy. He is a big eater. School is about to start so I have had 3 days of days of back to school shopping needless to say the baby needs to eat. I was at Ross he was hungry I nursed his with a blanket over me and was given dirty looks by both men and women (3 of them) they were rolling their eyes and just talking trash but not to me directly so I ignored them. Then today at the outlet mall I nursed him again and again I was fully covered never expose and walking around with the kids and people were all pissy about it again. I got pissed here I am in California in summer with and fing flannel blanket over my baby who is no doubt hot under it to be polite to other people and they are still *** wipes. Had anybody else dealt with that and how do you handle it?

That, sucks! I am sorry you had to deal with that. I would just ignore it and try not to take their uneducated stares personally! WTG for sticking with it!!!

That is awful. I probably would have whipped the blanket off so they could really see something! But I very proudly nurse in public.
