Weston is 15 months old, and lately has been only nursing 1-3 times a day, yesterday not at all.
I'm not sure if it's because of the holiday rush, or if he's nearing the end. It was definitely the longest I've gone with any baby!

have you tried nursing before meals? at that age, he may just be too distracted right now to remember.

I would think he is just distracted too. My daughter showed signs of slowing down for MONTHS before she finally weaned recently at 2 yrs old. Cutting down from 2 feedings a day to 1 was a big transition for her, and it took a LOT longer for her to drop the final feeding. She always wanted it when I initiated, and would ask every now and then, so I knew she was not completely ready yet. At this age it is hard to get them to nurse if there is a lot going on.

It's been going about the same. Once or twice a day, except for this morning he was up with a really sore bottom, so he nursed twice between 3 and 5.

I think he was just distracted too. It might take a while before he's ready to wean.
